I have had the Halo campaign as my first ever pack to try, theyre Ok, equivalent to the 'own label' brand, but I agree that less than a days supply is not really enough to formulate an opinion if youve not used them before.
My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

I totally agree with you, I'm certainly not going to spend time writing reports for Votarol if they're not even going to give us a sample to try. The Halo samples are pathetic, if I had known how few samples we would get to try I wouldn't have signed up to the campaign. I might know the minute Tesco buy Buzz the whole thing would become a waste of time. :( I'm not doing all their market research for nothing, seriously considering finishing with them completely.

I agree too, the Halo stuff is awful and with the tiny little pack you can't really try it out properly.

I can understand them wanting you to obtain the sample of the Voltarol spray from the pharmacy as it contains diclofenac which isn't suitable for everyone but I am not paying nearly £5 to test it for them when I have a tube of tiger balm in the cupboard!

Not heard of Tiger Balm before, is it good? (It's got a good name, better than Voltarol). I usually use Deep Heat, find it works, but it stinks. :o
  • I also got my Halo kit over the weekend and was disappointed with the size of the samples offered. I don't think it's possible to formulate and opinion on something after 1 days use. I was really happy with the colgate kit I received recently however. A proper size tube and planty of little samples to allow friends and family to test it too. :0)
One bugbear I do have is with the Purina One campaign they suggested for me. They sent out the catfood via Yodel (oh the joy) so unsurpisingly I've not had it yet despite being in for two of the days they allegedly attempted delivery. The parcel has now been taken back to the Yodel service centre but I can't get hold of them to arrange for it to be actually be delivered. How can I rate something when I can't even get the product delivered to me in the first place?!
Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!?

I believe that Tesco now owns Bzz x

    Well that says it all.

The Halo kit is a disapointment but the Voltarol one is a total joke...shoe bag & voucher tempted to write my review on the bag after that's what they gave me to trail

I have been nothing but impressed recently with "Bzz" .what surveys I have been offered have been relevant to my life style. Horses for courses. However I do agree that there are certain products that can only be be given an honest report if they need a longer period (no pun intended) to trial .

Oh, is that what it is??? :rotfl:

I thought at first it was a shoe bag but then thought, is it?

I thought I actually may go and redeem my voucher if the voltarol bottle was so big they had to send you that bag to keep it in!

A shoe bag?? so am I losing the plot here... is Voltarol just for foot pain? :rotfl:

EDIT: I realise it's for sporty people, but aren't people going to wear the things on their feet?

Can anybody clarify for me what we receive clubcard points for? I have submitted recipes, reviews and reports and have checked my clubcard statement and nothing from bzz. Anyone else had this problem?

I asked about this, if you go in my account, then account history it will be listed under clubcard pts on the right hand side. you can tot up the amount you earn and then the cs rep said it would take 1 or 2 statements from clubcard for them to show up, haven't got it on the may statement so hoping for the next one. hth
