I dont know about everyone else that has trialled the epilator, iv never tried one before, but i find it really painful... I did the front of one leg, and yes, a LOT less hairs have come through compared to shaving the other leg.. So i like the results but, its soooo painful i really cant bring myself to use it. I tried it on my underarms, dont go there.. Even more painful and sore afterwards.:(
Did you try it in the bath? I find out of the bath it hurts in the bath its fine. I can't do under my arms mind but my sister claims it doesn't hurt her. I do think it gets easier each time as well (or I just get used to it lol)Never give up the dream! :beer:0 -
I find it much better if I epilate underwater!! I also find that it hurts less each time I use it - even though when I do my underarms it still does make my eyes water a little!
Can I ask how much bzzing people have done on this?
I've done weekly tweets on twitter , have written a review and am sure I submitted a bzz report too. I have only posted a couple on my Facebook profile as I didn't want to jam peoples news feeds up with it! I'm not sure if the bzzing I've done will be classed as enough!0 -
I've given up on trying to use the epilator on my underarms - it's way too sore!:eek:
I have persisted with mybikini line though- only do one tiny bit at a time, but I find it more bearable than the armpits.

Can I ask, those of you that did the Remington Wet2Straight hair straighteners campaign last year, did you like them? I am thinking of getting them as they're £35 on Amazon (I seem to remember Bzz were charging £32?).
I have checked the posts from last year, but was just wondering what people thought one year on.0 -
There is no way on this earth that I would use an epilator - I just go and have a hot wax treatment every now and again which is far less painful.
I hate that wakeup light and have had to stop using it, it is far too big for my bedside table anyway (why does it have to be so massive?). I have been waking up at 11am (on the days when I was particularly ill and had been up all night coughing) or I have been up as the birds start to sing - my bedroom faces East so I get the sun.0 -

I think I binned the ones I had - not through bzz - as I found they actually really dried my hair out compared the the GHD's I had before them. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi, I did this campagign and I still use the straighteners! They're not as good as GHDs which I usually use, but they give pretty good results!
I find that when I'm in a rush, I'll use these as they double up as a hairdryer ... but without the loud blow dry noise!
So yes, I would recommend them, but probably more as a supplementry hair straightener to use when time is tight or you need to keep the noise down but they're not as good as GHDs.
Hope this helps.0 -
Golden keys are gone just for the record
Hello BzzAgent indelacio,
You are correct that we no longer offer golden keys. You will retain any you currently have until you are able to use them. We are always adding new things to our site and finding new ways to improve it, so who knows what we will do next.
Best Regards,

I'm currently doing the wake up light campaign. It has 17 days to go and the code for money off the item has already expired. Not much point running a campaign with an offer attached if it expires before the campaign ends. I mean, who in their right mind is going to go to the Philips website and pay £99 for one of these lights when they are way cheaper on amazon!!?!0

I use mine still every week, I have really fudged my hair up with over bleaching then getting it back to brown. I use these on wet/damp and and my hair looks smooth after and dead straight. I also never suffer from the damp weather frizz anymore. My hair is getting back to normal now and these haven't cause it to dry out and more. In fact, cause I don't need to do my hair so often, it's done it a favour. I could'nt do without them now.0
