Wow ... I'm so relieved after reading the last few posts. I really thought I must have been using the epilator wrong. I get the pain of the epilator, but the re-growth of shaving! I was so excited about trying an epilator but I'm happy to go back to my razor after this.

I have been using my epilator with the shaving head, as instructed, event though I haven't shaved in a few years (I use cream or wax). I was kinda against that idea and I still am. Anyway, when using this one, I tried to press more on the epilator part, so my legs are not really shaved. After three weeks, I am able to pass epilation for a week.

Now i am one of those with lots of drak hair, so for me it is perfect! The shaving part is better than I thought in the sense that it didn't made my hair bigger as expected.

My hair is sparser and I feel great for that, but it is not finer. Maybe it will become finer at some point, but for now, I am happy with less hair!

I do have to say that I have to go a few times over the same area as well as most of you ladies! I also think that the gel makes it slippery.

Unlike most of you, I don't like using it under the shower, as it takes a good 15 minutes for me to do them, and I stand there under the shower with water pouring down my shower cap and wetting my hair! I would turn on/off the water but I have those shower that dispense icy cold water when I do that! :(

I tend to think that they put a shaving head on it for us to keep buying stuff... If we don't have any hair, where is the money for them?

Sounds like everyone had a good time filming!

On a different note...how many of you are participating in the epilator trial? Is anyone getting tired of having to do the same questionnaire every week? It's starting to get a little frustrating writing the same information over and over.

Yes although I assume they are trying to gauge how our opinion changes over time! Would be nice to get something a bit different though
Never give up the dream!
  • I confess, after taking 10 mins of continuous 'going over' one of my legs in the shower this morning i grabbed my trusty razor! I didn't have the time or patience to epilate.

I'll go back to epilating in a few days, but prior to this morning it must've been 11 days since I last got the epilator out, life got in the way!

I'll give it one last go, but to be honest having 2 small kids to run about after, I don't get much me time. I was totally converted to epilating after the first couple of goes but it is fast losing its appeal to me. It took about 30 seconds to shave my legs this morning. I think I will keep epilating for my bikini line, as thats growing back really slowly, and will be fab for holiday time but i'm not convinced with my legs. Glad I didn't fork out for it!

Same here, have completed all their surveys. Can't really share or review anything because haven't tried anything that is in any of their campaigns. What are you supposed to do next? Or do they just not like the answers I've given to the surveys?
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.

I am not sure for everyone, but for myself, I have received an email where I had to buzz about it before trialling it. So I buzzed like crazy on FB, Twitter, my blog, everything they could have a trace of! I guess that's how I got in! HTH!

I dont know about everyone else that has trialled the epilator, iv never tried one before, but i find it really painful... I did the front of one leg, and yes, a LOT less hairs have come through compared to shaving the other leg.. So i like the results but, its soooo painful i really cant bring myself to use it. I tried it on my underarms, dont go there.. Even more painful and sore afterwards.:(
:D If you dont ask, you dont get:A
