They will let me know when it is aired. I have told them i'm interested in future work so we will have to see.
There were 15 filmed and they pick 4 for the advert. The advert will go out all around the world and there will be a repeat fee paid. ie: France - 300 % of fee paid, that would be 750.00 !! Spain - 50% = 125.00.
I wont be upset if I do not get it, but it would be niceSo its the waiting game again.
Great !, hope you get on, im gonna phone john morris and tell him im interested in the future.:beer:2016 Money challenge - £2900 -
Sounds like everyone had a good time filming!
On a different note...how many of you are participating in the epilator trial? Is anyone getting tired of having to do the same questionnaire every week? It's starting to get a little frustrating writing the same information over and over.0 -

I'm a llittle fed up with the same survey, and actually my opinion of the epilator is not as good as first thought.
I've epilated as told, day 1, day 3 then 7 days after and every 7 days for the first 30 days but apart from the actual day i do it i always have some hair on my legs. I am not convinced by the statement that it can even pluck hairs as small as 'a grain of sand', I also disagree with 'one sweep' as I go over the same bit 2 or 3 times. The hairs long enought to get plucked do get plucked but the shorter ones are shaved away with the blade, this means in a few days time the shaved ones grow and are long enough to be epilated. So I'm never really hair free! I thought the pain of epilating was worth going through for hair free legs!0 -
DB9 - excellent on getting to film! Hopefully you'll get picked - fingers crossed for you.
As for the epilator, exactly the same survey every week is driving me crazy too.
Maybe it's the way I hold it, but I've got hairs back within a couple of days, and not just a few! Maybe I'm missing it with the epilator hence they're being shaved off??
Any tips on angle etc would be appreciated! I've been trying to use it at a right angle to my leg as suggested. No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

I have ALWAYS missed hair when I have epilated, and I have been doing it for years! Angle sounds about right to me though. Have to admit I have never quite understood how those hairs are still there, but I tend to notice them the next day and there is no way they grow that long in a day!
Just one thing - have you been pressing hard with it? I don't have the one you are using (never got offered the trial, more's the pity!) but with the other two I have used you are meant to use it without pressing. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I found the weekly survey useful as it let me state each week that i wasn't able to use the epilator as it was faulty - and i was worried it would impact me for the campaign. I sent it to Braun to fix and they sent it back really quickly so I've finally used it today.
So far so good, epilation is always painful for me (I wish i was one of those who say it doesn't hurt!!) but it doesn't last long and I just do it for as long as i can handle and then have a rest. I really struggled to stretch the skin with the shaving gel on though, may have to do a section at a time as I find stretching the skin makes it hurt a bit less.
I'll do my next round on Monday as am sure some more hairs will sprout up. Feeling smooth right now tho!
I always miss hairs too, but the light on this one seems fantastic so can see where they are - and I do have to repeat over sections as well. I just assumed that as hairs can grow in different directions doing it the one way doesn't always pick them up.Couch to 5K Running 2009/2010/2011

I'm finding the same, it never gets all of them but I've stopped using the head with the razor in last week and although I went back to using it every few days this week it seems to be lasting longer. The other thing I did was only epilate one leg for a couple of weeks so I always had a comparator - the epilated leg was much less hairy than the shaved one, and the hair did seem finer.
Agree that I have to go over areas a couple of times but I wasn't sure if that was just down to me being hopeless at balancing on one leg so missing when I wobbled. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I definitely go over an area more than once with the epilator too. I still miss hairs, but I think it's fewer every week!0

Glad it's not just me who still gets hairy legs then! I've left epilating til today, so it's been 10 days since I last did it, hopefully that's given the slower growing hairs the extra time needed to grow just enough more and the epilator will grab them! I've decided to change heads this time and not use the razor attachment. I hope the epilator very lightly, def not pressing too hard. I also use an exfolating glove on my legs before I get started.
On a plus though, when I do my bikini line, it stays very smove and hair free for a good (almost) 3 weeks before I need to do it again!0 -
I am a long time epilator, and find the half epilator/half shaving head rather useless. It's normal to have to go over an area a few times with a regular epilator as the rotating tweezers will sometimes miss bits. But as you shave the missed bits off after one sweep you aren't removing most of the hair from the root, which causes stubble a few days after. I switched to the epilator only head, and am really impressed. After one session my legs are really smooth and stay like that for a couple weeks. It's better than any previous epilators I've owned. Try that way and see what you think!0
