tesco reduced goods (ood stock )

I was in completely new Tesco's a week or so ago (not my local) and the lovely SA was reducing loads of packs of meat.

I asked him if I could be really cheeky and get a pack or two, he said 'select what you want and give me a minute'. I took a couple of packs of meat and pointed to them, he said 'hang on I'll reduce them by 75% now for you'.

I think being polite sometimes goes a long way.

I have two sainburys about 7 miles apart.

Both reduce very well. 2kgs of potatoes for 10p, loaves of bread for 10p.

One is like a rugby scrum the other is not. It is just pot luck. I also get things like danish pastries for 10p/20p each.

I have even had pints of milk for 5p each.

Best to check out your local sainburys and ask staff they will know when they reduce. In my locals it any time from about 6.30 pm ish onwards.

I used to marl down when I worked in asda bakery and I would purposely not reduce much for rude people. If someone was polite I would put 5 or 10p on items
