Hi everybody!
I'm looking for an old style way of getting the grout out between the tiles in my shower. It's not too bad at the moment, but I don't want it to get out of control (!)
Hope somebody can help :-)0 -
I have always used bleach/water and an old toothbrush, along with rubbergloves , old clothes, and elbow grease. Thats when its bad !!!
Is there an easier way?0 -
Bleach is about the easiest way to do it I think. Maybe someone else in here has perfected a better way? If so can they share the secret please?0

I add bleach to bicarb and mix to a paste, this makes the bleach stickier and it clings on to the wall better, 10 mins later rinse off ...
edit - brush it on with a dead toothbrush0 -
See I knew someone would have an easier method than bleach running all over the place0

Hi all, I have now merged the two threads on shower cleaning for ease of discussion.

There are some other suggestions in the Cleaning section of the MEGA Index, though toothbrush and bleach tops the list
Try under "bath" or "grout" or "tile" or "shower"Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Cheers! I like the idea of bleach and bicarb - I knew there was some kind of baking ingredient that could be used! Getting my old clothes on right away!0
