Just to add to the confusion - this is a copy of the e-mail I had to day...

    "Dear Sir or Madam,

    Thank you for your email.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The tariff has been changed on 22.10.2005
    for
UK Mobile on Sa/Su in 5p/min and website will be updated as soon as possible.

We hope this has answered your question.

However - I have just made a call via 18185 and the "voice" definitely says "5p a minute" - which must be the cheapest there is for peak rate calls to a mobile from a landline!!

Final check will be to check my invoice.....to confirm.

Website currently shows 2p/min at the w/end and 5p/min at all other times...will need to keep a careful eye on these to see what the charges are! In the meantime have reset my Orchid to dial mobiles 24/7 via 18185....especially careful with the w/end looming (1899 is still 3p/min).
  • hmm might have to rest my dialler if this is the case
  • calls to mobiles via 18185 on weekdays are now 5p per minute plus 4p connection charge

Thats good because at the moment I have my UK mobiles going through 1899 during the day and night. I will change it to 18185 before I dial home to update my time.

    Another question....

What are the NTL rates for 0845 and 0870 numbers because at the moment this is how I have it set, is this the cheapest way:

    0845

    DAY - 1899
    NIGHT - NTL
    WEEKEND - 18185

    0870

    DAY - 18185
    NIGHT - 18185
    WEEKEND - 18185
