Help with Vodaphone contract dispute
I am now 14 months into an 18 month contract with Vodaphone. My contract was agreed verbally over the phone and I was given a monthly credit to reduce my account. This has not been given to me this month. When i asked why, they stated that the reduction was only for a 14 month period and not the full length of the contract.
At no time was this mentioned to me at the time of agreeing the contract. I asked what proof they had that I would have agreed to this. They had only notes on file. I asked them to verify by way of my recorded phone call with their sales team, but they said they could not.
The end result is that no one can re-imburse me as there is no error. When I asked to speak to a Customer Services manager, they were not available and would not change their decision.
Has anyone else had these problems? I thought I has an agreement for 18 months but it appears I am so stupid not to know that the discount offered was only for 14! I am leaving as soon as i can, but until then I feel SOOO angry.

Very strange that you were given a credit for only 14 months. It is totally standard for Vodafone sales to offer discounts for up to 15 months of an 18 month contract (never more but you can renegotiate on month 16 anyway). Even more strange that they are willing to lose your goodwill and business for the sake of one month's credit.
I've had a few issues like this myself with Vodafone charging me the wrong amount and to be honest they have always been quick to rectify the problems. You may have just been unlucky to get a idiot when you phoned up and if you don't fancy trying them again with someone else then maybe give the Vodafone forum a go:

If you do let us know how it goes and good luck...0
