HELP!! Headset for Samsung J700

Hope someone can help!

Just bought a Samsung J700 for my sisters birthday from Carphone Warehouse, it was £39.95 plus a £10 top-up on Orange.
It comes unlocked and I thought it was a good buy at under £40. I noticed that there was no headset with it, so went back to the shop to ask. They opened another box, but that too didnt have one. They didnt even have them in the shop to buy! Just think its a bit stupid selling a phone advertised as being an MP3 player and no headphones supplied. Thought I might be able to get a cheap one on Ebay, but its only those 3.5mm adaptors, not a proper headset with mic.

Any ideas where I can get one? The only problem is I need it before Monday so I'm snookered!

The phone should come with a headset as standard. I bought one from Tesco and it had a headset. Just return the phone and buy elsewhere. Try woolworths as they are selling for £49.99 but no top up voucher but atleast you'll get a headset (hopefully). Before you buy check the contents first.

Me too today.........wish I seen your post before I did!

I'd purchased it first then asked, only to be shown the contents of the box without the headphones and also without the data cable to connect it to your PC. Daft as it is advertised as a music player/camera phone but you cannot transfer music/photos from your PC or listen to the tunes afterwards.

A colleague had bought one from Vodafone the previous week with all the parts so I wrongly assumed that everything would be there. This is probably why the Carphone Warehouse are the cheapest on the Orange network for this handset as they have cut costs by getting the phone without all the cables!! They also wouldn't transfer the £10 top up you are required to purchase to my girlfriend's current Orange number so we have also been left with an Orange Sim card with £10 top up sitting doing nothing. Again when I purchased a PAYG Sony Ericcsson from Vodafone last year I got all the cables and they put the compulsary top up on to my current number. I should have just paid an extra £10 and went to the Orange shop!

I'm tempted to take it back and purchase from Orange but I will have lost the £10 top up I paid as they won't refund that. Frustratinly I have also been trying all day to get through to my local Orange shop to check they do sell with cables and they will put the top up on a current number but they are not answering their phone......ggrrrrrrr!
