Defo up for the challenge again! aPMS target remains £100. (Queenie - I'm afraid my aPMS target is set to accelerate debt repayment, which in iteself is not particularly old style).

E-baying really did fall by the wayside last month - I really do need a "round tuit" if I'm to meet this.
  • well I did really well in october :j :D
but don't have much going on ebay this month so I will set a target for £50.00
    wish me luck

I'm going to have a go at the PMS for the first time this month. I think most of my savings will be virtual but you never know, I might even be able to save a few 'real' pounds.

Things have started v. well as I've just been told that I might have to go on a two-day course next week for work. I get a good meal allowance whilst I'm away so that's 3 days' worth of meals (inclu travel time) that I won't have to pay for myself. Normally I'd forget about the savings but I'll put £8.57 into the V-PMS pot.

From this weeks shopping (BOGOFs/special deals/coupons etc) have got £17.59 virtual PIN money!! Also did a bit of xmas shopping today at Boots - used their 3 for 2 on gifts & saved £8!!!! Suppose, this should be added to virtual PIN money, bringing the total to £25.59. Blimey, I'm almost there, and its not even November yet!!!:D

Can I join in this please?

I'd like a BM (the flour dusting issue is becoming too much and the other thread on BMs has persuaded me).

Dunno if I can do it in a month, but maybe by Christmas? And get a good one in the January sales? having a think about what a realistic 1st month's target would be. Any suggestions welcome icon7.gif

I will change my sig to 1/2 a BM for this month if that is ok and will be more specific when I know better what I am supposed to be doing icon11.gif
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

And if you dont mind I would really like to join in and my goal is a food processor as my old one died last week (it was only 12 years old:confused: )

This is a good challenge for me as I would normally just stick it on the credit card so this is going to be far more satisfying.

Quick ? for all you long time PMS'ers.

I have ordered a breadmaker- YAY. Now, assuming I decide to keep it I have the following to decide on.

I plummed for MR one on LX Direct which was £39.99 down from £59.99. I only bought it because of the reduction, wouldotherwise have chosen a cheaper make. I am assuming the difference goesin "virtuals PMS"?

I also used a coupon for £20 plus free delivery £3.50 so total saving there £23.50, does this amount go in actual PMS?

    V, V, CONFUSED :o

Hmmmm, interesting point. Does it go in the virtual or real PMS? They are presents you would have had to buy elsewhere presumably if you hadnt got them at boots so maybe real?

If anyone could let me know itwould be great as I am going to a Boots Xmas Shopping evening on tues.

    Cheers,
    Al.

In October my first pin money challenge month I achieved my £40 target - so this month is going to be £50, this is money saved on bogofs and coupons in the supermarkets. (Virtual at the moment but when I do start earning I'm going to use the money I've been keeping track of for something particular).

Haven't added up my selling things money for October - will do that in a minute and then work out my target for November

Just had a thought. I'm getting meal allowances to cover every meal that I eat whilst I'm away. If I spend less than the allowance I get the money anyway. Should I put any 'profit' in the actual PMS pot?
