I've found colour cartridges to be unreliable from "other" brands. I'ts been safer to buy replacements from same brand as my printer - this is most serious as I'm a graphic Designer and colour is of the upmost importance.

However, when it comes to buying black, I've had no bother from any "other" make.

    Hi

I have found a cheap printer ink catridge website especially for hp catridges.

    https://www.mx2.co.uk

There are good offers on them but some you can't return if it is the wrong one so make sure it is compatable and has the correct code

Type what catridge you are looking for or for what printer
you will come out with several catridges - some original and some compatiables -

(THIS IS ONLY AN EXAMPLE FOR WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR)

for hp catridges just make sure that the code is similar to that of original catridges on the cheaper catridges eg if it says C8728A on the original HP
you want to look for the number 28 on the catridge or C8728 as the product code for the cheaper catridges

But of course the product code will depend upon what printer you have

    Enjoy

i found easyinkz and quality-cartridges they sell epson starting at £2.99 for my r200 printer it was £3.99 per cartridge or £14 for a full set. I had a look at the lexmark and HP but it seems they only sell originals but they look quit competative

    Anyone tried www.Oyyy.co.uk.

Found Dell A962 cartridges (2 black, 2 colour) for £59 inc.
Compared to Dell own site (2 black, 1 colour) for £54.90 inc.

But as no recommendations on here am bit nervous about using them!

Edit: not a very good start - created account and price went up to £64.86 with standard delivery and VAT added on that I thought was already included!
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.

Hi, I'm new to the boards (long time lurker, first time poster!), so I hope this is in the right place.

I recently bought a new Brother DCP-115C all-in-one printer, so was looking around for good deals on ink for when I had to replace the cartridges that came with it.

This printer takes individual colour cartridges, cyan yellow magenta, and black, and you have to replace the empties straight away or printer doesn't work.

The first company I tried was https://www.UKDVDR.co.uk, they had the inks for £1.79 each for compatibles, which is the lowest I've seen them anywhere, but postage was £2.99 so I bought two black inks and bunged in some CDRW discs to make the postage better value.

The cartridges were pretty full, and seem to be working just fine. The day after I got the black inks, the magenta ran out (typical!!), which is when I came across https://www.choicestationery.co.uk, who had the inks for the same price £1.79, but free p&p!:rolleyes2

Anyway, this one also seems fine, but not filled quite as full as the UKDVDR ones.

Soo... I recommend these two companies, and will be using them again.

Incidentally, I can also highly recommend the Brother DCP-111C too, I was over the moon to get it at Argos for £50, when they'd reduced it from £80.

Choice Stationery sent me a money-off voucher with my ink: I'll post this in the Vouchers forum (hope it's ok to do that:confused: ), and if anyone can tell me if it's OK to post the code in this thread, I'll do that also.

I think this site is fantastic, hope to post more soon

    Regards,

    Zippy:j :j
    That money talks
    I won't deny.

they are offering compatibles pretty cheap and (best of all) buy one get one free.
I've used them twice now and they seem pretty good. Quick delivery etc.

Update : Both orders I have received from them have been excellent (quick, accurate and good product) and both times I received a set of two free recordable CD's in with the order as a bonus.
