Cheap calls from the UK to the USA on my mobile?
Hi does anyone know how to get cheap calls from the UK to the USA from my mobile phone, to a mobile or land line in the USA?
I seen an article on here the other day, the one with Rebtel, but they said it no longer works (well the free calls) because orange charge for a certain number that you needed to call.
So does anyone know any other ways to do this? Thanks.

So I guess it's 8p a minute with Rebtel. I would go with the other companies, 1899 etc but I'd rather pay with my mobile phone credit.0

2p a minute mobile to mobile or mobile to landline with 18866 ... if you have FREE minutes on your network phone you can use these when dialling the access number

Only 1p a minute mobile to landline with sister company http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
but not much good to OP who says he is Orange Payg.;)0 -
If Orange has decided to block Rebtel numbers, take it up with Ofcom. Rebtel uses geographic (London) landline numbers for access and Orange has no business restricting those. What happens with your call after it terminates at a conventional geographic number is none of Orange's business (though going from past experience with them, there is almost nothing I wouldn't put past them).
FWIW, Rebtel is still working fine with O2.0 -
Ok, thanks everyone. Maybe I should try Rebtel to make sure, but I don't want the person I'm calling to get a big bill or whatever. Anyway thanks.0
