I have ZA Pro installed on my comp and just recently I had noticed that system cpu usage was hitting 100%, and therefore killing the speed of my system. A quck check on taskmanager shows that it is ZA that is doing this, any ideas why? It has always been ok before

ZA doesn't even show up on the first page on my layout in the task manager. The question is... is it ZA itself, or is there some other process going on that triggers ZA...?
Hm... does it show as busy in the task bar during these times?
Do you keep the old versions safe and so could uninstall the current version and step back by one?
If not - let me know which one you have now and I can email you the one before.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Mr Skint - Have had a read of that forum, though the posts date from 2002, they could still be relevant to my problem with ZAP v6.
Squeaky - I have backup copies of the setup programme, thanks or the offer though.
I'll do a complete uninstall/reinstall.......when I get back from the pub!

There have been a fair few problems reported with the latest version of ZA. The previous version; 5.5.094.000 appears much more reliable.
Get it from; http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=zalarm0 -
Shame you got a paid version though when theres so much
freebie stuff out there.. ICS I suppose? If not Sygate...0 -
Have uninstalled ZAP v6 and installed v5.something, internet has never been faster

Just hope it doesn't start using all my system memory again!
Thanks to Donnie for that link to the old versions
