Hi all Ive had my i pod classic for nearly a year and can do most things with it but the one thing ive never learn t to do is put films on it .I know you need to convert them to mp4 but i dont know how to do this.
Ive download two convert packages but both of them leave a water mark on the film saying sample . This is because its a free trail.
can any point me in the right direction please. Is there a free converter out there that wont leave a big sample sign right through the film or is there a easy way i can convert it my self.
thanks in advance:beer:

It'll take a little setting up, but you can set up Staxrip to encode to something the ipod can play.
iPod can play the following video formats:- H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile audio up to 160 kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
- H.264 video, up to 768 kbps, 320 x 240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
- MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file format
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
