SH, I think paying for a cleaner for you would cost me less than the fuel to get there! obviously if it was just a few miles I'd pop round...
I think last christmas my first since LBM I spent much less than usual on pressies but put a lot more thought into it and I think things mean more to folks when you've made the extra effort and not just splashed out money - hopefully your MIL will feel the same way.
So jealous of the rasps! all I've got is a bramble bush behind the hut!Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

4. Get stuff ready for work tomorrow.:(

The raspberries were delicious. :j I thought I had ate them all last week so was really pleased to find a new crop when I went into the garden.
Left flowers for MIL in kitchen as a surprise and then dropped kids at SIL... so don't know her reaction yet. Prepared a box of goodies from things I already had for sister (who is poorly sick). She was thrilled to bits as she is also a DFW....:j I've also agreed her Xmas present (yeah I know....) from something I already have unopened (shopoholic past):rotfl: ... and she would be dead chuffed to receive it as she has been borrowing mine:D!
Going well so far. Had another NSD which I think makes 4 in 8 days. :j Despite only starting last week I may make 5 NSDs this month! Definitely helps having a mindset of make it an NSD - as otherwise I normally take sister out for a meal. Last time cost £25! This time I offered her a McFlurry! We didn't bother in the end!:D

SH, well done on the pressies, I'm already looking at christmas and trying to put bits away, I'm hoping this means that I can stick the money in my savings account and the money in my sealed tin towards the debt if I do the shopping now in dribs and drabs.
Two watchers on one item and one on another - hope my stuff sells.
Went back to work today and drove at 60mph where possible (ok for about 90% of the time) so hopefully the tank won't need as much to fill it at the end of the week.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Still driving sloooooooowly and it's boring but if it saves me a couple of pounds a week it'll be worth it. It was another NSD but really need to buy some fruit just can't be bovvered going to the shops.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
