Morning bl and ss - just picking up on your comments about Mr T points - yes, they are ridiculously low/near absent now.
I am writing to Sir Terry, saying that this is counter-productive - for him - as I have no interest in buying/trying anything normally off-list without an incentive. Points DID provide this - especially as one could rtn them via CS after:rolleyes:, 'excess to requirements', and retain points, although I always suggested they should take them off.
I have no interest in '£15 off wine' offers which in no way come near the previous 1000, 1500 pt deals which represented £40/£60 in CC Deals later.
Also, spending less means fewer points anyway and Mr T has shrunk Value range massively, in quantities per unit while raising prices, notably on basics, F&V especially - 3 lemons £1.79, prev. Value lemons 5/6 in bag for 41-43p.
Not untypical.
Bus Pass means I am finding better things/prices elsewhere.
A LOYALTY card needs to earn its name....
Also, doing petrol price check, I can go 6 miles one way for 89.9, 6 miles in another 93.9 - both Tesco. There's a Shell and Sainsbury, apparently, at 86.9.

The double points on the petrol is good Beanie, it's 89.9 here and usually the same as asda which is marginally closer. I don't buy that much either but I'm currently with eon for gas/lecky and you get points for that too. We're just getting one of those recycling places which is a bit weird as the council do kerbside collections everywhere in the area but I'm not fussy and will cart my bottles up there if it gets me points, not sure about cans. I do like the green points for bringing your own bags though as I hate all the plastic bags blowing about the world.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I was very suspicious of it going up just before the £50 spend 5p off thing came in but I never get £50 worth of shopping unless it's a huge shop for the month...

I really do need to get back on track but tomorrow is time enough! I'm going for a wee run tomorrow I think then I'll behave.
Chinese buffet - yum! Don't tell the nice man in the thai restaurant in Perth though Beanie he hates the places. I like the fact that I can just have LOADS of starters though and miss out the rest. Good for you and hubby having a day off together Lou.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
