it is Beanie but because I'll need to borrow quite a lot I think they'll make me put it on a new fixed rate mortgage.

Check with them. It may be pro-rata'd. My last but one with the C&G was.
it is pro-rata'd - that's the final and smallest amount! it started about £2500....But this time you'll buy somewhere you want to live I hope, not because they're being "snapped up".
Hopefully but to be honest I just really don't want to be HERE! I shall hang on and do the sensible thing although I don't know if I'll make it till next year but end of November...:rotfl:Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well if you can't find anywhere you can afford, you could always sell, and then rent somewhere where you want to live..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I have only rented once and it was a bit of a disaster, I also have the idea firmly entrenched that it's wasting money - I think it's programmed in from an early age but I am seriously trying to consider it.
Shame about the parking ticket Beanie but at least you tried.
Anyone else watch Moses Jones? I like it but it's soooo violent!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well using this site here (usual disclaimers apply - especially about not knowing what pricing model they use), the house that I sold has lost £20,000 in price in the past year, and the house that I'm living in has lost £15,000 in price over the past year.
I've paid less that £7,000 rent and had repairs out of that.
