another disturbed night - DS had a bad dream and appeared in my room about 3am... Quite a nice day here so will drag DS out for a walk once we've dressed and had lunch.
Still to do:
Ironing - yikes there's tons
3 things on ebay (despite fact last lot didn't sell!)
Phone jewellery place (tomorrow but just reminding myself)

oops, have done none of those so far but did go for a lovely walk down harbour and watched some seals... walked about 3 miles all in which is just as well as I seem to have put on all the weight I lost before christmas - arggghhh!!! hopefully as the weather improves I will do more exercise but need to calm down on the eating front too, it would be nice to get to target weight at the same time as becoming DF. did resist some chips on the way back to the car but that was more a financial decision than willpower!Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Four months...not that long really but getting very impatient now! where's the foot tapping smiley when you need it??
I've been trying to work out figures for selling up and moving and trying to convince myself to stay here until this time next year - it's the sensible option and would give me time to tart the place up after the debt is gone but I soooooo want to move!I'm just wondering at what point in my life I'll stop thinking so much about money as it's been more or less in my mind for the last 3 years or so now - I don't mean constant worry but just niggling there.

It'll stop niggling when you feel secure. What will it take for you to feel secure? And I don't necessarily mean just financially. Lack of money brings all sorts to the fore."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Sort of - that and the fact that everything was getting snapped up really quickly and I couldn't afford much else!:D I know that it would be the sensible thing to do though hanging on for a bit, if I can just hang on until end Nov I won't have to pay £650 back to Halifax to get out of the fixed rate thingy.... but still don't want to!:pIt'll stop niggling when you feel secure. I think if I lived somewhere that I felt was "home" that would help (not making excuses) but I think once the debts gone I'll become an obsessive MFW!:oMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

But this time you'll buy somewhere you want to live I hope, not because they're being "snapped up"."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
