:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: mine usually resides in my bedroom in a big basket - looks ever so tidy once it's done. Nope mended the hem which I seem to do on an all too regular basis, mind you if he has four pairs and it's always only one leg then it's not that bad I suppose.

What do you all think about pressie money? do I keep it or put it towards the debt?

What would give you the most satisfaction, paying it off your debts, spending it on yourself or a bit of both:confused:

I probably would buy something I had my eye on and then pay the rest off a debt.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

There's nothing I've got my eye on to be honest but I kind of feel I should buy something it being a biggie and all that... not going to buy anything just for the sake of it though so thought maybe I'd put it in the bank and buy myself a nice painting when I move later this year? (notice the "when" not "if" there!) but then again maybe I should just pay it off just now and "owe" it to myself for later...

Decision made - it's going towards the debt. I shall buy something nice later in the year guilt free. Feeling a bit meh this evening, think I'm just fed up of winter again with the dark and lack of exercise since I've left the gym. Will make sure I go out for a nice long walk this weekend to make up for it (maybe lunchtimes too if it's not pouring). Snow drops are out and the highland cows have moved to the field they go to before the calves are born so come on spring get a move on! yes I do know it's only february but I can always dream...:D

My neighbours are being annoying as usual but was talking to someone earlier who has had to handle so much pish in the last year or so it's crazy so kind of feel I should be grateful that that's all I have to worry about. that and being nearly as old as Shirley Valentine...:rotfl:

I do bleeping hate that one and she's so sincere too!

I plan to grow old disgracefully and have lots of fun doing so but I don't think I should have to talk to walls just yet...

I have a bed to myself and a good book so bliss really Bob! we should really be grateful for small things shouldn't we? I have been pondering a bit and feel bad about whining - lots of people have been really sweet over the last week or so and I've been spoilt rotten. Maybe I'm turning into a two yr old cos the fuss is over?!! Life is good, all are well and the bills will get paid so it's not so bad really. and maybe with a bit of scrimping I can get DFD back to end of May... the jewellery folk didn't get back to me though so I need to get my finger out and phone them.

  • It's your thread you have a good old whine, it does you good every now and then and it is a weird thing human nature..we want what others have. I am so jealous of the bed to yourself..i slept really well at DD1's last week and woke up so refreshed after a couple of days i felt great despite the weather..
