I know what you mean by that Skinty, I go for girly nights out in Sunderland and sometimes you need a cattle prod:rolleyes: Not the best place to find someone cultured, handsome and interesting. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Sunderland: Not even on the same planet as someone cultured, handsome, and interesting.

Well to be honest I would rather go somewhere else but thats where the crowd have "always" gone and they dont like change:rolleyes: I only go there once in a while so quite enjoy it when I do.
I would much rather go for a meal and then see a live band somewhere, thats my ideal night out...........food and live music:TBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Taxman says no - no go on the children tax credit thing as we've already had it aparently. Was worth a go though.
Have lots of bday money and want nothing in particular so not sure what to do with it... I think I might stick it into my savings as it's not enough to knock another month off the debts but maybe if anything turns up before then it might be...

I read that as trousers melted:rolleyes: ....I am keeping on top of the ironing as I seemed to have a permanent mountain living in the kitchen.
A friend of OH who comes to stay over after they have been to the pub was looking at the kitchen wondering what was missing in it............I had moved the ironing basket mountain and the floor looked empty :rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: mine usually resides in my bedroom in a big basket - looks ever so tidy once it's done. Nope mended the hem which I seem to do on an all too regular basis, mind you if he has four pairs and it's always only one leg then it's not that bad I suppose.
What do you all think about pressie money? do I keep it or put it towards the debt?Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
