Now that would be a great idea, he would be able to help him with his homework:D
Funnily enough he teaches IT which seems to be one of DS's fave subjects although he doesn't like the teacher - thinks he's too strict! maybe I should look for a maths teacher!:DMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I'm not sure Beanie - I'm nothing like I used to be but obviously there's still a way to go! I think I might try Hypno's colouring in squares idea, maybe something visual would help me? or a picture of a nice house...

We all do things like that Skinty. I thought I had closed down an old Debenhams account, with a very high credit limit:o They sent me a letter with a voucher to spend if i use my card..i haven't got the card anymore but i was tempted to get a temporary one just for the voucher..i know i would have spent far more. I would rather pay in cash now and know i can afford it. Centreparcs is a tad expensive and they charge for everything..get the tent out in summer, far more fun.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

1. Phone jewellery place and get envelope to send stuff off
2. Get back to ebaying at least five items
3. Tidy lounge cupboard now it's not blocked by xmas tree!
4. Get kitchen ready to paint (clear clutter from on top of cupboards and wash down.
Since doing the shopping on friday night I have been mainly lying on the sofa so still have all of list to do today! and I need to go out for milk and fruit which means venturing out in the gale force winds and rain. I think I might take some stuff to the charity shop too.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well I still don't seem to have achieved anything off the bloomin list - maybe I should have included drink tea, get out of bed just so I had something to tick off!
I have been out and got car washed and I hoovered it, cleaned flat, bought remaining groceries, stripped bed and I'm about to do the ironing but just feel I haven't achieved much on the moneysaving side of things. I suppose I've saved on petrol...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Skinty you have done loads today, I think if I washed my car it would think I was selling it:rotfl:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: it gets really manky driving up and down the motorway everyday and was covered in salt so it was more MS to wash it than let it rust away! and I'd got to the stage I'd wiped the lights three times between washes, was only washed on xmas eve too but what a state!:o
I've remade my bed, ironed and put some of the non-selling clothes into a bag for the charity shop - sod the bluddy list!:DMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
