Great thread, as I too have been exploring to see if I could find any old stock anywhere - I have aging, crepey and sensitive eyelids, and I have used that particular propelling Almay pencil for donkey's years. How dare they just disappear!! Don't they realise the angst we baby boomers are now going through!! I think it is a conspiracy to get us to keep paying out to try different brands - none of which are like our dear old Almay, soft, kind and non-itchy. Sisters, it is time to rise up against the hegemony that has lost us our eyeliners- they must be somewhere! Mobilise your friends (jeannieblue - your use of relatives is exemplary) to search out these pesky pencils - I have a daughter in Chicago and I have her brought into the team - to no avail at this time as so far she can only find the 16hour jobbys in Walmart- but I am teeing her up to extend her search and will keep you posted.

Oh come on Poppybee!!!!!! PLEASE find me the eyeliner....

I am sure that Almay is more readily available in the States - there doesn't seem to be stockists here anymore, for some stupid weird reason (probably to do with money..) tell your daughter to sort it ---- or else
    :D:D:D

A petition to Almay maybe... Poppybee - I am at s*dding work all day, but if you can organise anything, then me and all the baby boomers and the youngsters too (I'll bribe them) will back it.. Go girl!!

Hi ladies, I know I'm coming to this thread very, very late, so apologies for that! Just found it after doing a search on "almay"....surprisingly enough!

I recently started having major problems with sensitive skin around my eyes and my usual eye make up removers (including Simple) irritate them like mad and make them all puffy and horrible. I tried Almay's non-oily eye make up remover pads and these are fantastic. As a result I've been trying to replace all my make up with the Almay brand, only to discover that finding Almay in the UK is like looking for hen's teeth!!

I read somewhere that Revlon bought over Almay so I contacted Revlon in the US and they referred me to their UK office. I mailed the UK and they responded almost immediately to confirm that they no longer sell Almay products in the UK :(.

I wish companies wouldn't do this as it's obvious that a lot of us ladies would love to be able to buy Almay in the UK!!!

So, looks like I'll have to stock up online and hope that someone, somewhere always has the items I need.

I do't know if this may be too late but I too was looking for an Almay stockist in the UK and found this thread!

You can buy Almay through Amazon's UK site.

A link takes you to another website but it originates from Amazon so should hopefully be ok.
