I am liking the look of the L'Oreal - it looks identical to the Almay - but then the boots own one was similar - but irritated. Think will try the L'Oreal one - its not that pricey, is it?

    Let you know!

Thank you for the help Treliac.

Meanwhile, I'd still like to know if Almay have vanished from the Uk... :D

I've just text my personal shopper (also known as my sister) the details of the L'Oreal one and told her not to return without it!!

  • I've seen quite alot of Almay products in Poundland, T K Maxx and also T J Hughes. Not sure if there was any eyeliner pencils but it may be worth a look if you have one near. (also lots of Revlon in poundland & T J Hughes)

I will be forwarding the info on to my personal shopper.

Treliac - its the L'Oreal ones that make me itch - checked out my redundant make up bag......... I've give them to my personal shopper (sister).

Which could mean, the boots ones (if similar) may r may not be my answer.

Meanwhile, personal shopper will be given directions to Poundland etc., think we have those near us - not sure.

Oh, more's the pity jeannie. I don't have trouble with them ... and I always thought my skin was sensitive.

Tell me what the Boots ones are like when you try them?

I'm sending the personal shopper off to Poundland first - boots will have to wait - meanwhile, personal shopper (aka sister) popped over today - how nice was her make up? - ie my L'Oreal cast off from day before! I'd hate her if I didn't love her....

I could have sworn that when boots stopped Almay, I bought their eyeliners, but after delving, couldn't believe it was the L'Oreal ones. Am a bit gutted - I need to look at Boots own make now, tho not sure if they do one like Almay's.

I'll not be ordering anything anyway til personal shopper has been to Poundland - apparently there is one in Southend, not too far away, bit full of man breasts in sleeveless T shirts this time of year  , but I'm sure she'll cope. :D

any more recommendations for eyeliners that can be used on the waterline ?

if an eyeliner says use above and below lash line does that mean the product is
not safe for using on the waterline ?

    thanks !

Well, Stomps, looks like we are stumped... :D

My sister (may have to sack her), hasn't been to Poundland yet. And I've not had chance to check out Boots own stuff. Never enough time, work, work work. Bummer.

The Almay one is (was) perfect.
