Brought an item of ebay, seller sent the same day(last monday) she said she sent by first class standard delivery, nothing turned up yet. She is answering emails but saying she will send me copy of receipt to track parcel and said if i file a dispute or chargeback she will take me to court.
Any advice?

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Basically, she's just trying to bully you.
If it doesn't turn up after a reasonable time, open an item not received dispute with PayPal.0 -
Thanks
How long do you think it is a reasonable time? How does the dispute work how do i prove i didnt receive the item?No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

15 working days would be a reasonable amount of time to wait.
You don't have to prove that you haven't received it, she has to prove that you did.0 -

I would open up a dispute now - you could always close it if it turns up this week.
I would send a message to seller along the lines of..".I know it's not your fault but..."

Frankly, she's been a tit so I'd open a dispute now. You then have 20 days to escalate to a claim - give it a couple of working days. All this assumes that you paid via PayPal though.
She then has to wait until 15 working days have passed from the mailing date to claim from Royal Mail, but that's not your problem.
EDIT: What Floxxie said, be polite. You don't actually call her a tit in the dispute

"I know it's not your fault but you're a tit" does have a certain ring to it though :rotfl:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

Well if she sent it you first class standard delivery then shes gonna have a really hard time giving you a tracking number cause you don't get them on standard delivery.
As for suing you if the item was under £30 quid then she would be mad to try as that's the minimum it will cost her to try.0 -
Item was worth £75 so surprised she didnt send by special delivery but regardless this seller has made me feel like i am the one in the wrong. No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Having the same problem myself at the moment!! Although the guy hasn't been a tit yet. but he only sent it with proof of postage and I should have received it on Thursday according to him. He sent me an email with a copy of his proof of postage. I told him that doesn't solve the problem of me not receiving the item though. I hav told him that I will give it to Thursday and since he isn't going to offer me a full refund that I will have no choice but to open a dispute.0
