I want a Blackberry and the plans that are being offered are confusing me. Does anyone know of any good Blackberry deals? I am happy to go on a contract and will mostly use it for calls, texts and email.

Thanks

One thing you need to remember about Blackberry devices is they need a Blackberry account to enable the use of all the functions.

The main difference between email on Blackberry’s and other phones with email is Blackberry’s use “push email” this means you get told when it arrives as apposed to the rest which use “pull email” i.e. you log in and check if you have any mail. You will pay more for push email, so decide if it is that important before committing to a Blackberry. Many other phones offer good email clients.

I've managed 6 blackberry's for work over the last 12 months, and one piece of advice is steer clear of the 8110 pearls, I have had 5 out of 6 of them fail.

I have had them replaced with 8310 Curves (The one with a Qwerty keyboard) and these have been far more reliable. They are a bit chunkier but they do come with a little case which keeps them safe.

Vodafone are offering £130 cashback on all contracts through quidco at the minute, so this would reduce the cost.

There don't seem to be any good offers for blackberrys at the minute, you could add a blackberry service onto your existing contract, all networks do them and then buy a blackberry sim free for about £300 too but i think that may work out more expensive.

If you want anymore advice please reply or PM me.
