  • you can now substitute the singstar for the buzz which is very similar
  • I picked my bundle up in Ipswich today. It was the nearest Argos to me that had all 4 items in. That was after trying 4 nearer stores.
Am really pleased with it. Used my Nectar points and saved another £50 off total, and got the £5 voucher too. So got PS2, mega pack, and 2 games for £45. BARGAIN!!
Thanks for whoever found this one... My kids are going to be sooo pleased on Xmas day.
`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.

Got my bundle (Edinburgh Straiton) no need to search around various locations. Added a LEGO truck for my son and bagged the £10 voucher. Looks like a really good deal.

    Cheers!

How do i get the buzz instead?
  • Parents went to local store today and they were told that because none of the games were in stock they (argos )were not doing the offer.. !!!

Needless to say there were lots of angry fed up customers turning round and walking across the retail park to Toys R Us instead..

  • I'm really p***ed off!

I went online and check this offer on 9 local stores. All 9 stores had only 3 of the 4 items on offer!!! All but 1 had the F1 game missing, and the remaining one had the console missing!!! To add to my troubles i still reserved and went in store (one of the 3/4 stores) where i had to cue for 10 minutes to get to the till where a spotty kid told me they couldnt do the offer unless they had all pieces in store. HOW CONVENIENT i thought - that NINE stores have 3 of 4 pieces... sounds like a hoax to me :|

I said to him - cant you order the missing game from the store that has it? he said "no the only way we can do that is picking it up ourselves and we're not insured to do that" - what a load of balony. The best he could do was to increase my reservation for 2 weeks - except the offer expires on wednesday. When i said that to him he said "oh well theres not much i can do then"

I called Argos up. Got through to a woman who basically said "check on monday/tuesday if its in stock otherwise we can't do it"

Is this fair?? is this just?? i think we should boycott argos the satan league.

*i feel a bit better now*

    any suggestions?
