Found this last night & wanted to have a think before posting...At the end of the day the journey is yours and yours alone. Its not for others to say how you should live your life and you shouldnt feel you have to justify what you do.
I have missed all the shenagians so dont know who said what, to who or when! Some people come on here to help, some to lounge (& snipe) in the misery of others. Some know how hard it is to get rid of debts and understand that none of us is perfect! Your tatoo is my new kitten...know I shouldnt but I did & at the end of the day that is my/your choice and we are only accountable to ourselves.
Just sort the wheat from the chaff and move on. As long as you know you are doing your best thats all that counts.I had a few months off & it did me the world of good. MSE is addictive after all and with the increasing emergence of trolls its ever more important to live a life in the real world rather than spend much time on here being bashed...bound to affect anyones self esteem.
On the other side of the coin if you say on one hand you have no money but then spend on a TV, tatoo etc then I think you have to accept that people may say "are you sure you want to do this?". That should be it though - if you choose to then thats your choice but at least people have been honest in response to the ? "should I do it...". We are all different & while I would like people I know to say "youre hopeless" (ie when I got Alfie..but hes sooo cute!!!) and then respect your decision. Unfortunately there re those who think, despite not knowing you, thats its ok to just wade in with criticism...for those reading - its not ok! This is our own individual journey and none of us have the right to tell others what to do. Express concern in a loving way, yes but be abusive, no!
So for IA etc hang in there, dust yourself off and return stronger, with new user name if needs be and continue to fight that blight that is debt..will take you longer if you buy stuff but that your choice isnt it eh! Good luck with the CAB stuff and let me know if you need help with essays (& cutting words down!)...I've done sooo many that chopping has become an art form!

You just highlight part of the word and change the font colour to black (on 'Go Advanced').

As the font is black anyway, it makes no difference to how the word appears on here, but it puts a bit of code in the middle of the word, and the swear filter no longer recognises it.
