Sorry to hear about your cat,I know how you feel,I'm the same with mine.
Do you know if he has a favourite spot in your garden?Sometimes my cat is out too late and I start to worry, but I literally have to go all the way up the garden and call for him.Sometimes he comes, other times he won't,but its worth a try.If you can,try getting up early, when its five perhaps and just light(preferably with a partner/friend)and look for him and call.I did this once when my cat seemed lost but at 3 in the morning!,there he was under a car, just looking at me!It is worth looking under cars too as they sometimes hide there I think(but obviously be careful!)
Could you offer a reward?People are more likely to look if there is money involved.I pray for your cats safe return, good luck.x

    Hi All!

    sport-smiley-001.gif HE'S BACK! sport-smiley-001.gif

A neighbour saw a young man with him who said he was looking for the owner so my neighbour brought him back. biggrin.gif

I'm going round with a shedload of Swiss chocolate as a thank you later.

Wish I could treat you all too. Thanks once again for the help and support, it's all been gratefully received. beerchug.gif

He's in great nick, just a bit grubby. Ate both cats food, after a quick cuddle and now he's gleefully getting in the way of my typing biggrin.gif

My stiff neck has disapeared and I think I may sleep well tonight!

All my love and thanks again

  • Not to thread rob Fern Merkin (and i am soo happy for you that your kitty is back!) my baby has been missing since Monday, I have added him to the missing pet registers, put posters up, been out every night looking, given leaflets out, put his litter around the garden, put a notice in the paper...is there anything else i can do?

I don't even know how he got out, he is an indoor cat and we live on the second floor...how will he find us? :(

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Oh Babe! I know how you feel. I can only suggest you check out the other posts in this thread. There are so many ideas here that I cant really think of anything else. Getting the neighbours on side worked for me and has been a good community experience, incidentally.

I wish you luck and send love. :grouphug:

I found the people here very supportive and I hope that helps you too.

As an aside, he's definitely out and not just trapped somewhere? Have you thoroughly checked the building, twice?

Let us know what happens, hun.

I'm so pleased you got your cat back, this bought back memories of when I was younger and our 16 year old cat went missing, we never saw her again. We thought that she either went missing to die somewhere or she was taken by someone :(

This is why every cat owner in the world should microchip their cats especially if they are outside, even with indoor cats you still need to microchip them but it's more important for those who go outside.

Give him a huge cuddle :D
