I've successfully unlocked a nokia 1100 on virgin mobile. I used code 5. It confirmed the restriction was lifted. WHen I went to test it with a bt mobile sim the bt logo comes up, but after a couple of seconds the phone reboots (as if it had been powered off) and switches on again. It then does this continuously every few seconds.
Is this a fault with the phone or a fault with the software detecting it has been unlocked ?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.0 -

I hadn't tried it with the original sim as I figured a sim was a sim. The BT mobile sim used has successfully been used with other unlocked 1100's. I was wondering whether there was a new locking system that did a different check between the sim and phone.
I could try the supplied sim, but thought that any legit sim should now work being as it had unlocked successfully.
Any reason why the phone should power up and then power off apart from a fault ?
Thanks
