    I tried the second code on the Phone with IMEI 357597000686893
    When prompted for a code I entered #pw+044273660252331+7#

    It said bad code. I did check this was the right phone (even checked the IMEI number completely before starting, entered the Virgin PAYG SIM into the locked Orange Nokia 6030. Enter the code as #pw+044273660252331+7# Clicked OK got BAD Code :(

    Am I supposed to enter a space between the numbers?

    I could not see how to do this the zero ket has a space symbol but this would only enter a zero. I read the first post and the example there had no spaces in the numbers so I assumed this was just to help readability?

    Any advice welcome.

    This is the info on the phones in case there is something important that I forgot to mension, the phones are locked on Orange, I have a Virgin PAYG SIM when I use the Virgin sim I get a restricted message and if I click Undo it prompts for an unlock code. I entered the suggest unlock, and double checked I had 1) the right phone, and 2) I had entered all the symbols and digits correctly BEFORE I press OK. Got Bad Code error.

    The firmware is

    Nokia 6030
    V y3.41
    22-07-05
    RM-74

    Language
    V y3.41

    The phones' IMEI numbers are

    357597000716187
    357597000716187
    357597000686893
    357597000686893

    I'ved typed the numbers in twice to make sure I got them right!
    your doing it correctly
    try these instead (without spaces)
    357597000716187 = #pw+284 905 107 251 714+7#
    357597000686893 = #pw+044 023 660 252 331+7#

    #pw+79 75 50 71 44 52 74 6+7#

    put another networks sim card in the phone and enter the code when asked

    No luck :(

    I don't seem to be able to enter spaces between the numbers and without the spaces the number is not accepted.

    The IMEI is most definately 357589/00/485233/2 and its a Nokia 6101 Locked to T-Mobile UK

    Any ideas?

    No good I am afraid :(

    I get the message "Phone restriction on" and is then quickly replaced by "Phone restricted". Its a friends phone and I suspect that the wrong number has been entered too many times.

    I understand this it is still unlockable however, but you will need the data cable. Is it more cost effective to pay someone to do this? Do any legal shops do this? or is it your market stall type of place?

    Thank you so much for trying.

    usually says "cannot undo restriction" after the 5 attempts have been used
    try this code
    #pw+796 990 714 452 746+7#
    you do not enter the spaces btw
    it can be done by cable if you can find someone with the correct cable.
    most indi phone shops/market stalls (or even s/h shops round here) should be able to do it
