you need to put another Networks sim card in the phone and then enter the code when it asks for a restriction code

ive just got a nokia 3100 on virgin that I need to unlock urgently, ive put in 3 codes and it isnt working and have 2 left can anyone tell me what i should be putting in please?????

Hiya guys,

I've just got my 6101 from the o2 student site with a lovely dab radio, but don't want to actually use the phone on o2, so hopefully someone on here can give me a hand.

The IMEI code is 356630009527908 and it is the rm-76 type (no idea if this makes a difference!)

Also, could someone explain if you need a different sim card in to make the code work or whether you just type it in when there's no sim in it like i did with my old nokia.
