you only get 5 tries (or 3 on some models) so its a cable/hardware unlock only now

hi there - I am very new to this so really sorry if I would have found answer by searching the thread - I would liketo unlock my new nokia 3220 locked to o2 so that I can sell it. imei is 358384003337538. Can anyone help with code please?

If I unlock it and sell it am I simply selling the handset which they can put any sim they like in? Will o2 or anyone else still think it's mine so I could have problems on billing/credit checks/police etc depending on what the buyer does with the phone? Thank you

Hi, I am about to attempt to unlock my Nokia 7610 as I have just lost a Motorola phone and dont relish paying 3 the £235 they have quoted me to replace it. I have worked out my IMEI number but am not sure what I need to enter at the 'boxserial' stage (Griffin, prodigy, V1 V2????) Im using the trycktill.com website.

I will be enormously grateful to anyone that can give me a clue on this-I dont want to waste my five chances by guessing.
This is a really useful thread and I am so grateful to have found it in my hour of need.

Flippin heck-I think I have just done it. I put in code 7 which didnt work, then put in code 1 and it said 'Sim card restriction off' Is that it?! Have I unlocked the phone?
