Nokia N82

Does anybody know when the Nokia N82 is coming out on Three?

The other option I'm going for is Orange. The best deal I can get is Dolphin 30 for £25 off the Orange site, with the phone coming free.

Three probably does (if they're intending to sell it at all). Why don't you ask them?.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I've already contacted them, and they said that it could be coming out on Three but they can't tell me when. Which is why I asked if anyone on here knew about it.

Thanks for your extremely useful reply though.

Of the networks, only Orange is selling the N82. They're locked to Orange.

Otherwise, you can get one on O2 (unlocked) from Carphone Warehouse. But only in silver. Orange sells them in black.

Best deal was the £150 discount, on Orange monthly, via Quidco, which ended last Sunday.

Otherwise, they sell without SIM - new, unlocked and in black - for about £270 from dealers.

    Or else, there's eBay...

You should have a look at the nokia shop. Quidco are currently giving 30% cashback on sim free phones so the n82 would work out at around £220 (although currently out of stock). Obviously its probably better to go with a contract, but I guess it depends how much you use of the phone!

i have a suspicion nokia are trying to kill off the n82, it was barely advertised on launch, never discounted that much yet spec wise is the best they have in there range.

i never understood why they would release a candybar phone with the same hardware as the n95-8gb except better camera as an n82, the comming n85 phone is a joke spec wise in comparison.

when i spoke to orange they were having shortages and its pretty hard to get hold of a silver on so if you want one grab it while you can.

    Interesting...

I think I'm going to get it on Orange. The cheapest one you can get it free on is the Dolphin 30, which they've got at £25 a month at the moment (£5 off). I will then downgrade it after 9 months to the lowest package.

Just a shame I missed out on the £150 quidco cashback! Anything else like this round the corner?

Also do you know how often Orange update the offers on the website? Is it more likely to get a better deal if I wait until the last week of the month?

Maybe they are trying to kill it off cos the whole N series aren't that great? I just got my upgrade from O2 went from a N95 to a LG Secret. I wanted the N95 8GB, but the sales advisor said he wouldnt advise it as most the phones that come back into the shop because of things going wrong tend to be Nokia N series. I have had several N73's and N95's and all of them have gone wrong. So is there any other phone that you would prefer cos after my experience with them two models i would now steer clear from them, the man did say all other nokia phones seem to be ok, its just that nokia cant seem to get the software 'right' on the N series.
