Should I quickly switch 2 capped Dual Fuel Supplier, from NPower or any other options?
Options
I used to be on a prepayment meter for gas & electric.
Gas via British Gas
Electric - Southern Electric
Over a year ago I switched my electric to Npower.
A few months ago I asked Npower to do my gas too as I had been trying to leave British Gas for almost 3 years & British Gas seemed to give me a different response every time i contacted them.
I am still waiting for NPower to change my GAS prepayment meter (due 28/07/08) they failed to turn up for previous appointment and they have already changed my gas charges since I joined in May 08.
At the moment its approx £25/month electric and £40/month gas
Both are standard rates no standing charges
Any :money: advice taken

I'd wait for them to get the meter changed and then switch to a capped or fixed deal with Scottish Power or E-on, the tariffs from both are fixed for longer than Npowers current offering and they also have the advantage of not being Npower.
Make sure Npower havent tied you in for changing your meters, sometimes suppliers can tie you in for a year after you change meters.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

P.s. I'm pretty sure they havent as I remember when I 'switched' 'one of the things that they had to say' was "You can leave us at any time, you are not bound to a 12/18 month contract" :rotfl:
After Martin's news I have just read, am reluctant to waste the weekend! However its a void course of moon right now.....just trying to find out when that ends.....don't wanna 'sign' any contracts/legal paper work on a void course; I'll be doomed!
