hello, im hoping someone can advise me ill try explain best i can
back in feb 2006 i joined talk talk with telephone and b/b at that time i had to pay 10.00 for my b/b as i was 1 of many who couldnt get free b/b this was a 18 mth contract.
in nov 2007 i had a letter saying i was now able to get free broadband (great love it) but earlier this year after having endless problems dropped connection etc i decided to leave when my contract ended, i have just rang talk talk up and have been told my contract only started in nov 2007 so won't end until 2009

what i need to know is are they allowed to restart my contract without any papers being signed. i knew nothing about this at all only thing i knew was b/b was going to be free
please help im moving next week and want to change providers

I've had trouble with Talk Talk broadband-endless freezing/timeout/OE not working but am locked in until November. Everytime you change some small part of your contract the 18 month lockdown starts all over again-however in the case of their broadband are they really fulfilling their contractual obligation?. I only manage because I switch over to another (wireless-also free) service on our other phone line. There is no way you could manage with just the TalkTalk-sometimes it runs at dialup speeds. And yes I have tried the 'technical helpdesk'-no use at all0
