I have stayed at the Travelodge in Docklands lots of times with the kids. It's very easy for us to get to as it's on the A13 and the DLR is only a short walk away. The rooms are very good for the price and breakfast is £6.50 per adult and upto 2 children eat free. This is for the hot all you can eat breakfast which I sometimes think the kids lookforward to more that the trip to the city!!! If you stay here when you check in I would advise to ask for a room on the car park side as this is quieter. Anyway you'll have a fab time.

Purple hotels are really nice, although never stayed in their ones in London, average price is £49 per night, although I think their London ones are £69 per night.

Hope you have a nice time! :D

I heard this week that the one on the south bank by Tower Bridge has been bought out by Premier Inn.
