0800 numbers on '3' mobiles
This is just a warning to all unsuspecting '3' customers
Early this month we had a problem with our BT line, and needed to report it. We did this on BT's 0800 Number from our '3' mobile, and the following day the line was repaired.
Received my '3' bill today to find we were charged £1.12 to phone this freephone number.
Contacted 3 customer services to be informed that charges for phoning
0800 numbers were outside my call plan and were charged -
10p per min in a 3G area
and
15p per min in a 2G area
I was unaware of this, and this vent is to inform others who may also be unaware.

Yeah I know, it's daylight robbery. Most other companies tell you that you are going to charged normal rates when making 0800 calls and make you ommit the 0 from the 0800 prefix. 3 offers good deals bit with anything thing that seems too good to be true always read the small print!!!!!0

The only mobile company that allows free calls to 0800 numbers is Orange and they stop this on the 1/12/05.PF.0

This is only an advantage to Orange Customers as o2 allow you to call them direct anyway from your inclusive x-net minutes. You cant of course phone 07744 numbers out of your inclusive x-net minutes from 3,Voda,and T-Mob.PF.0
