If you can put your publication together in InDesign... you will find it much easier. Go download the free 30-day InDesign trial from the adobe website... Adobe InDesign as a page layout program supports PDF layers...
There is however no direct MS Publisher -> InDesign converter. The only way I have found to convert publisher files to indesign files is (a), do it by hand, or (b) using the PageMaker converter which comes with PM7. You would have to save the publisher file as 2000 compatible, stick it through the PM converter, then import the resulting pagemaker file into InDesign...0 -
Actually, i've just found a MUCH easier way for you. I can import Adobe Acrobat Documents (PDF's) into Publisher 2003 by doing an Insert > Object... > Adobe Acrobat Document. It will come up and ask you to select the PDF you wish to use. You are going to need Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader installed first to do this...
Of course, InDesign is the proper way though0 -
Thanks newfoundglory, as soon as I saw your last reply, it all came back to me.0
