Gift Vouchers

Like one of the other posters, the amount of cash the OH was adding to the vouchers was well above the minimum spend - only a small part of the full payment was in Gift Vouchers. Just to clarify, Argos said that you would not receive the 'free' voucher if any part of the payment was in Gift Vouchers - that's why I couldn't believe it at the time...
If I had been in the shop with the OH at the time, I would have asked them to show me where it says you cannot pay with Gift Vouchers. When I contacted Argos, they said that the website t&c were correct, but that they didn't apply in-store.
The vouchers we had were eventually used for something else, but I certainly wouldn't recommend buying them for anyone as a gift, you may as well give them the money - as I subsequently told Argos.0 -
Hello
I have to tell someone.
I have, like many others, bombarded on-line outlets for a PSP for Xmas. I even got hooked in the mvDV lot - but that's another thread.
So during the voucher offer I placed 7 completed orders for a PSP with ARGOS thus entitling me to 70 pound in vouchers - which I have in my mitts. However I have not recived any PSP as none of my orders managed to get to the inner sanctum of fulfilled orders.
So are my 70pound in vouchers mine or should I be a good boy and return them. BTW I complained about the first unfulfilled order and got a sorry letter with another 10 pound voucher this morning....... :T :T :T

I once got a £50 voucher from Dixons through a promotion, but I did return it as for me personally it would have felt like theft. If at a till I get more money back I always return the excess p.s. I'm not rich either, but it's just my own morals. Depends how you view it I think.0

Food for thought: If you return the vouchers do you get some sort of receipt for doing so? How do you know that the till operator wont just say thank you and then at the end of the shift take the excess vouchers for him/her-self?
The previous two posts remind me of something:
A few years ago I went for a Burger King burger at a bus station in a modern foreign country. There was at the time a problem of counterfeit currency there (but the principle of this story is applicable to the issue at hand). The till operator closely examined my paper money before returning change. As the burger was running late, while I waited I asked the till operator "Tell me the truth, have you ever detected counterfeit currency at the till?"
"Sure, many times," she said.
I proceeded to inquire, "and when you have the counterfeit currency in your hands, what do you do? Call the security guards (many of whom wander overtly at that particular station)?"
"Are you crazy?" she replied. "After work we go upstairs (to the retail shoppes) and spend it!"
So if you are getting vouchers that you believe were misappropriated, and you can't sleep because you're troubled that you might enjoy that good fortune, but at the same time you cannot know what will really happen to the vouchers if you return them or send them back, then maybe better to donate them to charity, contribute them to a ward of your choice at a hospital, or look for a disadvantaged person and make their day.0 -
The vouchers were supposed to have been received by the 14th, I still haven't had mine, have emailed them but had no reply.
Anyone else not received them yet?If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in
