If its just for photos, emails and surfing the internet, this HP laptop from ebuyer will do everything you need. Good screen, and keyboard and very reliable.

    £269 inc delivery,
    Celeron 1.6ghz
    15.4" screen
    1gb ram
    120gb hard drive
    DVDRW
    Wireless

    Has excellent reviews too.

The 2nd laptop on your list has a higher spec, but for what you will be using it for, I doubt you'd notice any benefit, especially when it costs £160 more than the one I've listed.
  • Thank you everyone for all your help - I decided to buy the HP one Jaydeeuk1 - thank you, the price was very good and I only use it for light use - hopefully it will be fine.

    Thanks again
