Today I visited SheptonMallet Tescos. I spent over £30 in two transactions at the same time but when I was leaving the store I was refused the tea and cookies because it was not on one transaction. Bad cstomer relations Tescos and don't forget Aldi are opening next week!!!!!!!!!!!!Today tesco are giving away tetley tea and cookies when you spend 30 pounds or more in store excludes top ups tho

Nice spot! 252 Tesco stores are giving away a free (standard size) packet of both Maryland chocolate chip cookies and Tetley Tea when you spend £30+ in-store. Unfortunately there's no way of specifically knowing which stores these include, but it's likely to be the bigger branches.
The promotion started on Monday 21 July and is ongoing until the tea and biccies run out, so if you're popping to Tesco in the next few days keep your eyes peeled to claim the freebies. Find your nearest Tesco.
If you know a store that's participating, please post the details below so other MoneySavers can benefit too.
Many thanks to MoneySaver jamespir for the top spot. Although he was lucky enough to get his tea and biscuits with a £20 spend, I'm afraid Tesco has confirmed the minimum amount is £30.

Because you get a till "spit" once your shopping exceeds the £30 minimum spend, perhaps thats why they can't overide it?
I spent £104 in Tesco Telford yesterday, and split my shopping into two transactions (so that I had two £50 spends and qualified for two 5p off petrol vouchers)
I also received two free tea and biscuit "spits"; but I let the lady behind me have the other one, as she didn't qualify for one on her shopping either - they had loads of tea and biscuits left at the Telford store.I'm a nutter :j0 -
