I remember many years ago visiting ASDA and when you spent over £25, they had an offer to give you a whole bag of goodies, they even had a fridge and freezer in place after the checkout to store the items that needed to be chilled.
Tesco giving out one pack of biscuits and tea seems small in comparison but suppose better than nothing.
