I don't really see this topic discussed, but where's the best place to buy stationery and such consumables?
Also, i'm looking for somewhere that sells thin ruled lined paper, can't ever seem to find it, always wide ruled!
I saw Wilko's selling A4 Thin Ringbinders for 75p which is quite cheap

I've found the cheapest place to buy stationary in our university ... 50p for a pad of lined paper and £3 for a ream of paper!0

Asda sell loads of stationery for very little, but to be honest stationery costs so liitle that the savings don't justify the time expense of going elsewhere.
Does your student union not have a shop which sells this kind of stuff. Leeds Uni sells loads, a lot of it with the Uni's logo on it.0 -
Yah, i'm really having trouble finding narrow ruled lined paper though! Union is quite a walk for me and we don't have an asda nearby. Tried a few places though, WHSmith are doing 200 pages for 99p, wide ruled though.0

Rymans stationers are pretty cheap once you get your student discount (need NUS card obviously). If you have a tesco extra near you they're really good value for stationary but obviously don't travel too far out of your way as that will totally nullify any savings. The cheapest method is to stock up at home when your mum/dad will happily fork out for 'academic tools'!0

Try Partners as well, as they offer 10% NUS discount. Stationary Box is my all time favourite, but not sure if they have branches nationwide (certainly there are two in Liverpool!)
If at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving isn't for you0 -
I got all my bits and pieces from Wilkos, but then again that was the most convenient shop for me.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 #18 £2021.83 declared0

For me it's Tesco and Poundland which seem to be the cheapest to me. Not to long ago i got 2 a4 ringbinders and a pad of the thin lined a4 paper quoted for a pound! My local poundland is always full of students0

I've found that ryman's are pretty good, plus you get the 10% student discount from them which is helpful. WHSmith periodically have decent sales, but my local one stopped doing student discounts because "students were taking advantage of it". There isn't a tescos near me, only tesco metro and they dont do much stationery.0

Home Bargains (I got a pack of 24 different coloured gel pens - pastels, metallics, neon and glittery - for £1.99!!! So chuffed and now my lecture notes are pretty :j)
Also Wilkos, Poundland and the supermarkets
