Against everyones advice I have put my flat on the market this week, I just can't afford to keep it when I'm not living in it!

Lucifa, what job are you trying to concentrate on?

sorry about the house falling through Suzy - I saw the other day the sale was just about clinging on by its nails :(

the shopping has arrived from Waitrose Delivers and I'm really impressed. It was a very pleasant chappy in a shirt and tie who offered to bring it all in for me. The food is really carefully packed in large, strong, re-useable, colour coded bags. No dented tins (a huge improvement on Asda!) and a set of recipe cards. I'm already eyeing up the crumbly cookies with jammy fillings recipe ;)

2 items unavailable - frozen jacket wedges - good job really, I had to really shove everything into the freezer, it's groaning now - and a tub of mini chocolate rolls............sob.....I've been salivating over those all morning thinking of them arriving! 1 substitution - pork sausages for beef ones from the butcher's counter.

All in, very impressed. The £15 off £50 spend code can be used twice so I might use it for my mid-month shop next month. Can't afford to use them without a decent code though although saying that, some stuff wasn't that different from Asda in price.

I'm going to use the Waitrose bags as my Lidl bags to pretend I'm 'Waitrose woman' when I next go in Lidl! :rotfl:

I'm going to send the link to Dad as they Waitrose anyway. Was talking to him about MSE website yesterday and he seemed quite interested in it as a tool. He's quite savvy and has no qualms 'doing a deal' when shopping. For example if he buys a new suit he'll often get a shirt and tie thrown in for free, or when he got the PS3 he got a free second controller added to the package. They're getting us a new mattress (Darling daughter has to be comfy through her pregnancy:rolleyes:  ) and he's getting it at sale price even though we couldn't confirm the size we needed until 2 weeks after tthe sale ended. I'm planning on taking him shopping for baby stuff (I love my Pa;) )...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does things like that..... !

I'm also on my lunch break, first time I've posted on daily chat. I've just gone full time from part time to put the extra money into paying off our debt so we can move next year (same as you Lucifa, living in a flat where we are constantly bumping into each other.. ahh well, such is life.

The extra few hours at the end of each day are killing me.... snoooore!!
