Discounts for health problems

Hi I just thought I would let you all know that most the water companies have special rates for customers that have high water usage due to health problems for example incontinence. Anglia water for instance will fit a meter with a standing charge but not charge for the units; this standing charge is less than the old rateable value, I found this information on the companies web site. I hope this is of some use to some of you.

  • Southern water also has a Vulnerable Customer tariff but to apply you need to be metered, be on specific benefits and have high water usage due to health problems. If you qualify your charges are capped.
