I have just been to boots to take a bikni back that didn't fit me which i got from leeds at the weekend and got served by the sa who got my card took off me a couple of months ago. I asked her politely for a refund and she started to put the bikni back on the hanger and said i will have to take some points off your card, i said ok.
Gave her the card and she was doing something on the till with the recipt then she started huffing and puffing and taking a while, then she called another sa over and started to say that i come in all the time with stuff i have bought from other stores and asking for refunds. And thats she fed up of me doing it. I haven't had a refund for ages and don't go to lots of other stores. I said that i don't do it all the time. She said why did you take it back to leeds where you got it from, i said that i live in wakefield, she said i know where you live. I told her that she shouldn't have my address and she says she doesn't she knows everyone. Then she tried taking 200 extra points off, i had bought a timedelay product and had a 200 point from the magazine and told her this, she kept saying i have to take the points off, i tried showing the other sa where on the recipt the product was and then got a time delay voucher out to show her and she said how many have you got, you are not suppose to have more than one. I said to her that it wasn't my fault she didn't had a attuide with me and that she had tried to get my card taken off me, she denied this. She was doing this in front of a line of customers, then she said to the customer next to me tha you don't have any problems with me and where is your mum. So she clearly knew this customer. By this point i was nearly in tears and she had given me my ten pounds back but because i was so upset i didn't reliase. She then got this other customer to tell me that i had been given it back. I did ask for the manager but was told she wasn't in store today. I told her that i would be speaking to customer services and the store manager about the way she was treating me. She was really nasty with me and said that she had to go before she lost her temper. She was determined to embrass me in front of customers.

Then she started going round saying wheres the team leader and trying to get staff and this customer to back her up. I got in touch with my oh to come to speak to the team manager with me. The team manager came to speak to her first and she had the customer who was her friend telling the team manager what had happened.

I explained to the team manger what had had happened and that the customer was her friend and she apologised and said she would speak to the member of staff and that it isn't a problem for me bringing something back.

Hmm, just checked .com and this is what they say:

In store points cannot be spent on prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, postage stamps, mobile phone top-up cards or insurance products.

Maybe they have changed their regulations.

I once was told by SA that I couldn't buy nappies with my points...this was a few years ago but just wondering whether you can or not? Since then I never tried to pay for them with points.
