    Hi NuttyP

If I were you I would clean the blood from the area and pat it dry. If you were able to access any paper stitches I would try to close the larger fissures (if you have any) to prevent them splitting further and deeper. Don't walk any huge distances if you can avoid it until you get the fissures under control.

THen I would get soome Flexitol heel balm. Use it for a week or two and you'll really notice the difference. Put it on when you are watching eastenders or something and remain on the sofa - do not walk about. give it a good while to sink in to your feet, not the carpet.

You could also do this and pop some cotton socks on before bed. This will keep the feet warm and encourage moisture from the cream to sink in.

If you have used the paper stitches obviously the flexitol will make these moist and come off, so work around them.

    hope this helps

PS what's the rimmel kohl pencil thing?

By the way, when I went to the Post Office yesterday to ask for a 46p stamp, the lady behind the counter was very rude and told me they don't exist anymore, it is now 50p. I insisted on the 46p stamp as that is what I WANTED, she did not know what it was for. She very reluctantly gave it to me. But this kind of explains the Sun offer. They must have weighed the Boots Booklets and at the time they cost 46p and now the cost has risen to 50p.

Sorry to be slightly off topic, although still Boots related.

Ooooooh, ouch! You need a heel balm that contains a lot of urea, you should start to feel the difference after a couple of days use. These two are both effective and you can buy them in Boots

When they are healed up then use a foot file to reduce the thickened skin, also S&G Heel Genius is good at preventing it happening again.
