moving from virgin 3-in-1 to sky

my mother is leaving virgin (currently has tv, phone and internet with them) to sky tv primarily but is confused whether to have phone and internet with sky as well.
she wants 2Mb broadband and doesnt use the phone often, just for incoming mainly.
i think she has paid BT £125 to have a bt line reconnected.

does anyone know what the best deal is for her?

She needs to first check if Sky's free 2mbps broadband is available at her exchange.
Otherwise she would probably be better off staying with Virgin. But if she has already paid BT to reconnect her line its a bit late.
What prompted the change in the first place?
