ive been to the shops to buy a few essentials and er a few naughties. However I did walk with the pram to a shop which was 1 mile away rather than going the other direction which has 2 big stores close by. So all in all walked over 2 miles between doing the shopping and going to get the gas card topped up. I bought special K today too, am going to see if i can do some of their 2 bowls and 1 meal a day diet and if it will work. i quite like cereal lol
WTBAS - low fat crisps dont sound bad, im guessing they where only about 100 calories so thats what 2 apples? or a slice of bread!0 -
EMMLYLOU....................Great the walking you did:T :T never mind the naughties theres always tomorrow:j
Yea i suppose youre right the crisps arent 2 bad esp when you said slice of bread i would havehad that & not thot id been bad  maybe thats whetre ive been gointg wrong.youve just made me realise the little things all add up;)

bread is shockingly bad for using up calories!! then think of the butter and the filling! i mean an empty sodding sandwich is already 250 calories before you add fillings! Im trying to reduce my bread intake and switch to brown rather than white for the main part. So yes lol, just keep thinking all u ate was a slice of toast with no butter lol0

Morning - the con of cereal!!!!!!
Ok so i thought i would give the 2 bowls, 2 weeks thing with special K a go.... however i thought it might be an idea to actually weigh my 30g of cereal.... well im glad i did! Its about the size of a portion annabelle would eat!!! and she isnt even 2! It really wasnt even half a cereal bowl, and i dont have giant bowls! just normal ones! So I weighed what i would normally put in it and it was closer to 90g than 30g. So rather than each bowl being 112cals like on the front of their box, it would have been 336cals! over 2 meals thats 672 calories! Me thinks if im going to do this 2 bowls for 2 weeks im going to have to reduce how much cereal i eat *doh* and aim for closer to 50/60gs rather than my usual 90! but no way i could cope on 30g! so thats 224 per meal and under 500 for brekki and lunch. So if i have a nice healthy dinner fingers crossed this thing might work! Although i will have to sneak in the odd naughty food too lol. How are we all this morning? anyone up to anything fun? Am thinking we will go off on a walk to the park today and have a bit of a pram push around it once or twiceother than that... the dishes are calling me and the livingroom needs hoovered oh and a load of towels and nappies need to go on

Its a thing for work, raising money for chairty. People are singing in an X Factor style show and we have judges and everything :rotfl: I'm terrified cause I've not sang in public for about 4 years (since I granduated Drama college) so I'm a bit rusty... plus my throat is a bit sore.
Heard about this mentioned on Forth One - didn't the judges turn up?Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
4.4 miles is really a great amount of walking!!! Well done! I think you earned that gingernut
Enjoy church and if u do end up snacking a little, dont worry you prob burned around 400 calories on your walk! and ur dinner sounds yum! I need to be trying that soon!
Bathgate - hows ur eating and spending etc all going? Feel like your making any achievements at the mo?
waaaay too quiet on here lol!0 -
I think everyone must be away on holiday, Jo should be back on soon I would think, she even posted from Turkey!!!
I have been away today, you know it is Sunday and what that means:p , I've been stuffing my face all day.
We've had a rough week at my place, hopefully next week will be a bit more peaceful and that my job hunting will become fruitful for a change.
Speak to you tomorrow,
