Fingers crossed for you Lynn! Make sure you leave enough time to freshen up before you go in - I once arrived for an interview bang on time after negotiating a huge hospital and 3 flights of stairs... I dont think I looked good (lol)! Hope it goes ok:) xPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

kmac - i never worry when people move country anymore, the world is so small with the likes of email and facebook. If you look at my friends list u will see they really are from all over the world, its sad when people you know move away, but its not the end of the world
start of the new improved diet today. Done my 2 mile walk into uni with a backpack full of stuff (laptop, fruit, drink, notebooks etc). Had a yoghurt for brekki, had a banana for a snack and on bottle number 2 of water. Got an orange and an apple to do me until dinner time, then a nice big proper dinner to fill me up until tomorrow (with the exception of perhaps a yoghurt as a snack). i bloody well WILL have a loss this week!0 -
Emmy you're so good... I just ate a mars bar.....
(( I'm drinking water to make up for it, and I only had a bread roll and quavers for lunch.... no I know there's no excuse is there.. sorry...

Good Luck Lynne  You'll be 2 hours on the road by now but we'll all be thinking of you at 11am
How is every this am? I've still not had the guts to weigh myself post holiday yet, but my jeans still fit me so thats always a good sign! xx:heart2: Its 12 o'clock and I need your attention :heart2:Debt at Aug 2008 : Bank of Scotland CC : £1605 :mad:Overdraft : GONE!:j:staradmin Debt free aim: Sometime in 2009:staradmin0 -
It's not always as bad as you think... I had a sausage bap this morning
slapped hand... but it is to keep me going through the rest of the day as I wont eat till tea time now! Sitting down with OH tonight and doing a 'post holiday' finance catch up, filling in the spreadsheets etc.. should be fun:)
I really enjoyed swimming on holiday, but cant think of a cheap option to go swimming here..... maybe I should look into monthly membership or something... I just hate the faf of swimming baths!Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

i had my weigh in today - another sodding maintain as expected...
So yesterday started the all new improved diet... had a yogurt, a banana and for dinner mash (although with some cheese boo) and er 2 veggie pies. I think my problem was i didnt have enough at lunch, so by tea i was staarving and my eyes where bigger than my belly lol. Then when packing my bag i found a freddo bar i bought annabelle last week and had lost... ended up eating it doh! Still not a really bad day, just not great. No junk to tempt me today (am sure of it!) so today WILL be a great day.
Lynne - good luck with the interview! am sure it (as u r reading later) went fantastic! Well done on bringing the pack lunch too!
kmac - just bite the bullet and weigh in lol. It might spur you on for a really good week if u had a gain or a maintain. But you never know, you could surprise yourself with a loss!!0 -
Hey Everyone,
Well, its over, he sent me a text message yesterday saying that he doesnt think anything can change and that he thinks its best if we went out seperate ways and to let him know when i want to collect my things.
I am in limbo really, i dont know what to think, his family have been texting me and have said that he has made a huge mistake, that they dont know what he is thinking and that they all love me.
But none of that helps, he has said he will continue to pay half of the debt so im left with around £500 a month to live on after the debt which should be plenty and with the frugal ways im learning it should go even further!
I sat and worked out all of the paperwork last night, wrote him a letter with all of the info about the bills etc and basically tying everything up financially until i see a solicitor i guess.
I cant believe how things have ended up, met him when i was 22, got married at 23, seperated at 25. Its all rubbish.
I think its worse that its all come out of the blue, i thought we were happy and thought everything was great but i guess its time to suck it up, there is no going back now, he wont talk to me and his phone is turned off so i guess its a case of leaving things alone and seeing how it goes. I dont think i can go back, after all the poo ive put up with and now he has ended 2 years of marriage in a text, there doesnt seem to be much to save i guess.
I am going to shut up now, going to stop talking and do some work, might pop back on in a bit (or will see if i can stay on and keep this in the background.)
P.S. Being ill has lost me a few pounds but since im not sleeping i feel rubbish and am not enjoying the weight loss. Well done to everyone, sorry for hijacking the thread since this post is neither about money or weightloss, but ive missed coming on and talking to you all.

Oh Puzzled, I'm so sorry; did I miss some posts somewhere while I was away? As far as I'm concerned you are totally not hijacking this thread - I am sure Jo would say the same; no-one wants to just read all about weight loss and money ALL day(!!!) - we are here to support each other; and you are going through a really tough time. I don't really know what to say except that I am sending you a big HUG xxxxPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T
